Hi, I’m Angela — a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has spent my career working with incredible children and young adults with autism, ADHD, and other areas impacting behavioral success. My experience spans educational and clinical settings, supporting individuals ages two through twenty-two.
I founded Joyful Minds ABA with a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to grow confidently and discover their own path, even in a world that isn’t always built for them. My passion lies in empowering parents—helping families find hope, build confidence, and celebrate meaningful change together.
Through collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based support, I’m committed to helping children and families thrive on their unique journeys.

Your Questions
What is ABA therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a way of helping children learn new skills—like communication, social interaction, and self-regulation—using encouragement, connection, and positive reinforcement. At its core, ABA is about understanding how your child learns, and teaching skills in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and meaningful to them. At Joyful Minds ABA, we believe that assent-based ABA therapy focused on positive reinforcement and relationship building is the most effective way to help your child build communication, social, and self-regulation skills—right at home.
ABA is not about forcing children to comply. It’s about understanding your child, respecting their boundaries, and helping them succeed in meaningful ways.
